In this cyanotype image, light streams in through the open doors of the Shakespeare Memorial Room at the Library of Birmingham.

The stunning room (here hidden in shadow) was originally created in 1882 by John Henry Chamberlain. It was moved to, and carefully recreated on, the top floor of the Library and opened at that location in September 2013.
