The Bristolimage Project

The Bristol photographs are part of an on-going project. This explores the numerous locations and amenities offered by Bristol yet frequently overlooked by residents and visitors. This is either due to the time pressures of modern life, because they are off the beaten track, or they do not appear in common city guides.

Caption details provide background to image locations and local history.

From The South West

Periodically I also upload images to this site of events and activities not only in Bristol but further afield in the South West of England. These are to be found in the  Moments  tab.

(Image quality and resolution vary. I use the camera I have to hand – most often full frame gear but sometimes a point & shoot or a ‘phone.  To aid browsing speeds, images are uploaded to the site at low resolution, irrespective of original file size.)
